Hooray! Found a great recipe for vegetarian “Honey Cake” – soft and delicious!
- butter 100g.
- sugar 2/3 cup
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons sour cream or 60 oz.
- 1.5 tsp soda + Lemon juice, soda to extinguish
- 2.5-3.5 cups flour
- cream 0.6 liters.
- 0.5 cups of sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
Sour cream recline on a sieve (with gauze) for a few hours or overnight to glass liquid. I was so a couple of hours at most, that’s enough.
Making dough. In a water bath melt the butter, add the sugar and honey, stir.
Without removing the pan from the heat add the sour cream and flour 1 table spoon, Mix well. Add baking soda, lemon juice and repaid removed from the bath.
Cool the mixture slightly, about 5 minutes at room temperature.
Add the flour and knead the dough. It is soft, warm, buttery. Divide into 5 equal parts. Fold beads in the package carefully, individually and put them in the fridge for 20 minutes.
Turn the oven to 180-200 degrees, prepare a 6 piece baking papers and figure out what will cut circles. I had a cover, size 23 cm circles turned 6 + little cakes on it
We can immediately use the paper for baking, we shift to the pan, pierce the dough with a fork to avoid bubbles, and bake for 5-6 minutes.
Cakes get baked very quickly! And gets very soft, immediately remove them from the paper is not necessary. When slightly cooled, remove them from the paper.
Once all the cakes are ready and they will be little warm at this point, you can lubricate them with cream. The cream is easy, mix all ingredients and all.
Each cake takes 3-4 tablespoons cream.
So here it is ready, a couple of hours in the fridge and ready to be served!
